Scoring Methodology
TruthChain uses a multi-dimensional scoring system based on verifiable data. No subjective ratings — only facts, timelines, and outcomes.
Score Dimensions
| Score | What it measures | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| CredibilityScore | Overall trustworthiness based on track record | Composite |
| PromiseScore | Rate of fulfilled promises and commitments | 20% |
| ForesightScore | Quality and timing of predictions/warnings | 25% |
| AccuracyScore | Factual accuracy of claims and statements | 25% |
| CompetenceScore | Domain expertise demonstrated over time | 15% |
| ObjectivityScore | Bias detection and balanced reasoning | 15% |
ForesightScore Criteria
| Criterion | Description | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| Specificity | Precise vs. vague prediction | 30% |
| Lead time | How far in advance | 25% |
| Reasoning | Evidence-based reasoning | 20% |
| Consensus | Against mainstream (and right) | 15% |
| Outcome | Did it actually occur | 10% |
Force Majeure Handling
If a promise is unfulfilled due to external circumstances (war, pandemic, natural disaster), the system automatically flags it as Force Majeure and excludes it from the PromiseScore calculation. This ensures fairness in assessment.
